About the Project

USC's Korean Studies Institute was established in 1995 to spur the development of education and research about relations between Korea and the United States. KSI's mission is to educate students and the wider community about Korea and all its varieties: history, politics, business, culture, language and society through research and teaching. Their goal is to become a global leader for research and teaching about contemporary issues and the modern history of Korea.
